Usually, it is not bad to leave your laptop plugged in. Modern laptops are built for that. The real battery killer is often heat.
Is it bad to leave your laptop plugged in?
TL;DR
Usually no. Leaving a laptop plugged in is fine, but keeping it hot all the time is not ideal.

Most modern laptops stop continuously charging once they reach full. Some also offer battery health settings that limit the charge level when plugged in for long periods.
If your laptop gets hot on a desk, bed, or couch, improve airflow. Heat can age the battery faster than simply being plugged in.
If you rarely unplug it, check whether your laptop has a battery preservation mode.
A plugged in laptop is not automatically a problem. Heat and battery settings matter more.
